Wow, my first holiday season really got away from me! Two Thanksgivings, two Christmases and one Chanukah would tire anyone out, especially this little dude.

It all started over in Nyack where I met cool new people and saw old friends.

Before I knew it, the day ended back in Manhattan at Sally and Peter’s place where I met not one but TWO dogs. It was pretty epic.

I also met my cousin, Jesse…

… and Charlie.

I gave Charlie a gift.

Plus I ate turkey for the first time.

Nailed it.

But the best was hanging with my Great Nana, Carol.

For a quick breather, we all went up to my folks’ little country cabin.

Where my Grand Poppy and Victoria came to visit.

Soon, it was time to hang with my Mom’s folks again…

… where I had the distinct pleasure of watching two Grandmas compare notes.

And get presents!

Then I quickly hung out with my Dad’s Mom’s family for breakfast…

… before hitting the road again, this time to my Great Grandy and Bob’s place in Hanover (it gets confusing, trust me).

I was rewarded with a new, trademark Grandy knit hat…

… complete with some last minute adjustments.

Ivana began teaching me to read…

… and walk.

Something that Bob is doing quite well himself.

Finally, this guy with an afro magically turned upside down. That really blew me away, Dan!

It was a whirlwind and I needed to rest back at the cabin.

Rest and get serious about my stand-up career.

And then, to top it all off, we had a fun visit from our friend Dan and his boy, Max.

At the end of the day, it was a lovely, perfect season. Thank you all for making it so wonderful!

Papa had business in LA a few weeks back so we all went out to join him and see the West Coast!

I met a bunch of new friends, like Tom. He’s a funny guy.

And Hannah. She’s a sweetie.

Her daughter, Delilah, wanted me to swim but Mom wouldn’t let me.

Even though I was teething, everyone was so nice, I didn’t want to make a fuss.

Then I met Charles and his finance, Lisa.

Charles is scared of babies. But I think he may come around.

And then Danielle and her son, Kai, showed up and it was a real party.

That evening, I was transfixed by these dudes.

Then I said goodnight to the sun and goodbye to LA. See you next time…

Last month, deciding that I didn’t spend enough time on the road, my folks bundled me up and lit out for the territories.

It was my first plane ride.

And, honestly, what’s the big deal? Except my ears… those are a big deal.

Once there, we met up with curator Marianne Stockebrand…

…who, along with Rob Weiner, gave us a guided tour of the Larry Bell show she curated at Chinati.

It was cool.

Then I discovered a teepee…

…where these funny people, Jeff & Kyle, were hanging out!

Marfa… I like the quiet. I think I’ll be back.

Right Papa?

My Mom had a conference in DC this weekend so Papa and I tagged along to party at the hotel.

It was a great opportunity for me to catch up on some reading.

And learn some new skillz – like holding my own bottle.

We even caught a little culture despite the cold.

But the real highlight was the relaxing pleasure of meeting my great, great aunt and uncle, Pat and Stewart.

It was so relaxing, in fact, that I fell completely asleep.

The other week, my Great Aunt and Uncle, Sally and Peter, took me down to the river for some yummy BBQ.

I couldn’t quite eat the BBQ but I did soak up all the delicious love going around.

And posed in the waning sunlight. It was a perfect way to say goodbye to my first summer.
