Flavor Flav

This last summer, my folks took me to visit one of my mother’s favorite artist’s permanent installations in Bridgehampton: The Dan Flavin Art Institute.

So fancy.

As a connoisseur of light and light fixtures, i found the exhibit very compelling…

…and trippy.

Papa just stared into the lights for a long time.

Be The Change!

Many of you are familiar with last month’s March Against Climate Change.

But you may be less aware of the critical role I played behind-the-scenes at that radical gathering…

Working with fellow revolutionaries, we marched to bring attention to THE greatest challenge of my generation.

I didn’t create the problem (thanks Mom & Dad) but I sure as heck am gonna be part of the solution. We all need a little more revolution in our lives!

Luckily I learned from the best…

So, let’s do this! Seize the future! Make capitalism — oooh, what’s that??

Hanover Haven

I recently went to visit my great grandparents, Grandy and Bob… It was a trip I’d been anxious to make for some time because I’d heard so much about this legendary couple!

grandy

I wasn’t disappointed. Bob, ever curious, asked if I was invested in gold and I told him I wasn’t eating solids yet but as soon as I was, I’d look into it.

Grandy then carried me around singing olde songs and showed me the garden and the house.

looking around

It was terrific! I love them both so much…

That night, I stole a catnap in my parent’s bed before sleeping like a champion for 8 straight hours! They didn’t think I could do it but what do they know?

Speaking of Grandy, the beautiful sweater she knit for me really came in handy when the weather turned colder this last Sunday on my way to my local diner.

Oooh, more lights!
